Blog — articles that help Google find you

What this screen is for. Short articles on your website. Google shows them to people searching for an inspector near you — tell the AI a topic, review the draft, publish. The post goes up on your site, at your own address. How to get there. Sidebar → Marketing → Blog. What every button does Show the blog on my website — the master switch. Your blog appears on your site once you publish your first post; untick to hide it completely. View my blog — opens your live blog. It's greyed with "Publish a post to see it live" until a post is actually Live — an empty blog has nothing to open, and your site's Blog menu item appears only then too. Write a post — opens the editor: Title, and Pick a topic chips (roofs · sewer scopes · radon · crawlspaces · new construction · seasonal maintenance) to aim the AI. Write it with AI — drafts the whole post for you to react to ("Pick a topic or type a title first" if it has no subject). You edit every word before anything goes live. Post — plain paragraphs: "write it the way you'd explain it standing in someone's driveway." Photos — optional; a photo of the thing you're writing about does most of the work, and a short clip works too. The first one leads the post. Save draft / Publish on a new or draft post; Save changes / Unpublish on a live one (there's deliberately no "save draft" on a live post — that would quietly take it down). Delete — removes the post the instant you tap it. It does not ask twice, so mean it. The post list — each post with its cover, a Live or Draft badge, its date, and Edit. Common questions "What should I write about?" Tap a topic chip and let the AI draft something to react to — "your first post is the hardest." Local, season-relevant answers ("what a sewer scope finds") are what searchers ask. "Does publishing put it on Google?" It goes onto your site and into your site's sitemap immediately; search engines pick pages up on their own schedule. "I published two posts with the same title." No problem — the second's web address just ends in "-2," and a note tells you so. "Where do readers see it?" On your site's Blog page — the menu item appears once a post is live. View my blog takes you there. "Can the AI publish without me?" No. It drafts; you read, edit, and publish. Good to know Delete really doesn't confirm — a tap and it's gone.
