My Website — publish, preview, and the studio
What this screen is for. Your branded booking site's control room: whether it's live, the address it answers on, a live preview, and the seven studio pages that shape it. How to get there. Sidebar → Marketing → My Website (the first tab, and the default). What every button does The header (always in view): Live / Hidden — the badge and its plain sentence: "Your site is visible to the public." or "Your site is hidden — visitors see a simple 'coming soon' page." Your live web address — your yourfirm.homerecon.ai address, shown as an openable link and labeled "— live" (the *.homerecon.ai wildcard serves today). If you've also set up your own custom domain, it shows on its own line as "— coming soon", since that one isn't switched on yet. Publish site — one tap and you're live. Hide site asks first ("Visitors who open your link will see a simple 'coming soon' page until you publish it again"). Visit my site — opens the real site in a new tab. Preview (phones and tablets) opens the in-app preview sheet instead. The seven studio pages (each has its own doc): Content — what your website says. · Brand — your logo and colors. · Media — your photos. · Areas — your service zones (a read-only mirror of Business → Service areas). · SEO & AI — being found on Google and by AI assistants. · Domain — your web address. · Publish — go-live status and web traffic. The live preview — a sticky panel beside the studio on a computer, a sheet on a phone: Phone / Tablet / Desktop widths, Refresh, and Open. It shows your saved, published site — save and publish your edits, then tap Refresh to see them. Common questions "How do I put my website online?" Publish site. That's it — the badge flips to Live. "How do I take it down for a while?" Hide site → confirm. Your link shows a simple coming-soon page until you publish again — never an error, and never someone else's site. "Why is my preview blank?" The preview only shows a published site — an unpublished one deliberately shows "Publish your site to see a live preview here." "I saved a change and the preview didn't move." The preview shows the published site — tap Refresh after saving; edits behind a sheet's own Save button appear once saved. "Which address do I give clients today?" Your live yourfirm.homerecon.ai address in the header — it's openable and serving now. Your own custom domain joins it once that's switched on (coming soon). Good to know Publishing and hiding live here in the header, once — the Publish studio page is status and traffic only, with no second switch to hunt for. The preview never embeds an unpublished site — a deliberate safety, not a bug. New accounts start Hidden — brand it, then publish when it looks like you.
