Schedule — your calendar and booking requests

What this screen is for. Your week at a glance — the calendar, the booking requests coming in from your website, scheduling a job by hand, and managing a booking from first yes to done. How to get there. Sidebar → Schedule. Three tabs: Calendar (where you land) · Availability · Calendar sync — the other two have their own docs. A green number on the Schedule sidebar row means requests are waiting; tapping it lands here with the requests strip open. What every button does Schedule new inspection — book a job by hand: buyer or seller, the client (or ➕ a new one, or none), the agents, the address (it suggests real addresses as you type), the type, when (Today / Tomorrow / pick a day, start times on the half hour, with a plain readback like "Monday, August 17 at 9:00 AM · Times are in Pacific Time"), how long, and — on team firms — who's taking it. A hand-made booking lands confirmed; no email goes out and no inspection starts until you start it. The booking-requests strip — one card per website request: who, what, when (in your time zone), the service with any add-ons, and the all-in fee. Confirm booking locks the slot onto your calendar and queues the "Your inspection is confirmed" email; a time that overlaps is refused in plain words. Decline asks first and is honest about both halves: the request leaves this page for good, and the person is not told anything — their name, email, and call links stay listed under the strip so you can reach out yourself. The calendar — Week and Month views (phone defaults to Week, laptop to Month), Prev/Next, and Today whenever you've wandered. Busy days wear dots; month cells show up to three chips and a "+N more." Every day also shows your own hours at a glance: an open day wears its hours (like "8a–5p"), a day you've blocked off in Availability is softly tinted and reads "Off" — so the shape of your week is right there on the calendar, no tab-hopping. The day agenda — each row: time · client · address · a status badge, plus "~N min drive" and the lighter strips showing time set aside to drive there and on. A website request still waiting on you appears dashed, so the day is honest before you've said yes. An empty day says "Nothing scheduled — enjoy the light day." Manage (on a booking) opens the drawer: Start inspection — creates the job (exactly one, even if you tap twice) and drops you into capture. Confirm / Mark done — the one green next step for where the booking stands. Change time — a new slot with a conflict heads-up; the client is queued a new-time email (or, with no email on file, it says "saved but not notified"). No-show — records it, with an optional fee you keep. Cancel booking — a reason, an optional cancellation fee, and "Refund the client automatically" (on by default) if they'd paid. "Also this day" — sub-appointments like a radon monitor drop or pickup, linking to their inspection. They're notes on your day, not bookings. Common questions "Someone booked on my website — what do I do?" Tap the green number on Schedule (or the banner on your Overview) → the request card → Confirm booking. The slot locks, the confirmation email queues, and the day shows the job. "How do I take a job that came by phone?" Schedule new inspection — the address is the only thing that really matters; everything else can come later. "Does declining send a rejection email?" No — nothing is sent, on purpose. The person's contact details stay listed so you choose the words. "How do I move a booking?" Manage → Change time. The client gets the new-time email automatically. "The client didn't show." Manage → No-show — record it, add your no-show fee if you charge one. "Why does the day show drive-time strips?" So back-to-backs are honest: the app sets aside the driving from your office and between jobs (you tune the buffer on the Availability tab). "I tapped the request badge and the strip was empty." Someone else on your team already confirmed it — the booking is on the calendar. Good to know Times are always your firm's time zone, shown right on the card and the readback — never your device's guess. Cancels, no-shows, and time changes write permanent history — that's your record if a deal goes sideways, and it's why they can't be undone. A booking held as possible spam holds no slot — the "held as possible spam · Review" line under the strip takes you to the held view. The tabs don't stick across a refresh — a reload lands on Calendar. Starting a job from here meets the same gates as anywhere: the trial cap and the confirm-your-email wall.
