My settings — your own account
What this screen is for. Your account — your name, sign-in email, password, headshot, and the devices you're signed in on. Your business's profile, prices, and legal moved to the Business hub; this page is about you. How to get there. Sidebar → Settings, or tap your initials in the header. Owners see two tabs — My settings and Import data — everyone else sees just their account. What every button does Your profile — your name, sign-in email, and role, read at a glance. Headshot — Add photo / Change photo: it saves the moment you pick a file, and it's shown on your interactive client reports. Any picture works (a HEIC your browser can't read is refused with a plain ask for a JPG or PNG copy). Display name → Save name — your name as the app and your reports show it; the header initials follow immediately. Email → Change email — the safe way: "Check both inboxes — we sent confirmation links to your old and new address. Your email changes after you confirm." Nothing changes until both links are clicked, so a typo can never lock you out. Password → Change password — current password, new one twice, at least 8 characters. Every refusal is a plain sentence ("Your current password is incorrect," "Those passwords don't match"), and success keeps you signed in. Ways you sign in — every door into this account (email & password, Google, Apple) with a plain connected / not connected next to each, and the address each one signs in as. Connect Google / Connect Apple ties that sign-in to this account even when the emails don't match — which is exactly what defuses Apple's "Hide My Email" (a private relay address connected here lands in the right business forever). Disconnect appears only while you'd still have another way in — the app never lets you remove your last one. On the phone app the card shows the same truth but points you at the web dashboard to connect a new one. Devices & sessions — the two-device rule in writing: this account stays signed in on up to two devices at a time — a phone in the field and a computer at the desk; a third sign-in signs the oldest out. Sign out everywhere asks twice ("This ends every session on every device — including this one") and is politely refused while captures are still syncing from a device, so no field note is ever stranded. Delete this account (owners only) — the danger zone at the bottom of My settings. It says exactly what will happen in plain words: your booking website comes down immediately, billing stops, and after a 30-day grace window your data is permanently removed — except reports you already delivered to clients, which stay available to them forever (that promise outlives the account). You're offered a one-tap Download my data first, then you type your business name and tick an acknowledgment before the button arms. Change your mind any time in the 30 days: sign back in and tap Restore my account on the screen that greets you. You get a confirmation email the moment you request it — spelling out what happens, the exact date your account is removed, and how to cancel before then — and a final email once it is actually deleted. After the 30 days pass, the deletion happens on its own; you do not have to do anything more. Common questions "How do I change my password?" Right here — current, new, confirm, Change password. Done in ten seconds. "How do I change the email I sign in with?" Type the new one → Change email → click the links in both inboxes. The two-step is deliberate — it protects the account that runs your business. "Where do I change my business name / logo / prices?" The Business hub and the Website Studio — this page is your personal account; the cards point you the right way. "I think someone has my password." Change it here, then Sign out everywhere — every device starts over. "Why can't the admin login add a headshot?" Headshots belong to inspector profiles (they print on reports); a platform login has none. Good to know The forwarded old tabs still work: an owner's old bookmarks to Settings' payments, subscription, or legal tabs land on the right Business tab automatically. Your role is read-only here — roles are managed on Business → Team. Related Import data — the other Settings tab Business — your firm's profile Getting started — the two-device rule in action
