The other pages — About, For Agents, Learn, Download, Contact

What this screen is for. The site's standing pages beyond the home page, pricing, and signup — who we are, the page for real-estate agents, the walkthrough library, how to get the app, and how to reach us. How to get there. The site menu (behind the hamburger on a phone); the footer's Company column carries the same links. What every button does About (/about) — one page that says who we are, start to finish: the hero ("Built by a family that inspects houses."), the kitchen-table founding story, Meet the team (the family that built it — photos where they've sat for one and an honest placeholder where they haven't), what we believe, and a plain closing invitation — start free, no card, your first inspections on us. The old separate Team page said the same things twice, so it was folded in here (2026-08-19); /team still works and lands on this page. For Agents (/agents) — the page a buyer's agent is sent: "The report's ready before your inspector leaves the house," what the interactive report and the Ask List do for a deal, and why agents remember the inspector who made it easy. Testimonials (/testimonials) — real words from real inspections, led by two named founder-inspectors: Cy (Parker Home Inspections, Everett WA, WA licensed) and Ernie (TCS Home Inspections, Idaho — years of experience, no license number because Idaho doesn't license inspectors). Both cards disclose "Co-founder of HomeRecon" (FTC), and both come from one shared array the homepage reads too. Learn (/learn) — "Every part of the app, in plain English": seventeen short walkthrough topics grouped by category (Get set up · Inspect & report · AI that works for you · Clients & delivery …), each on its own page under /learn. Download (/download) — the device story: HomeRecon runs in the browser on any device — phone in the crawlspace, tablet on the tailgate, desktop at the office — nothing to install, and offline capture is real there. The page headlines App Store and Google Play badges so the apps read as real and on the way; the native listings aren't published yet, so the badges are not links (a tap does nothing) and a plain "coming soon" line sits right under them. The one thing that clicks is Start free in your browser, so nothing ever dead-ends at a store page or a signup page pretending to be one. Contact (/contact) — "Talk to us": your name, email, subject, message → Send message, plus [email protected] for anyone who'd rather write directly. Docs (/docs) — the complete HomeRecon manual: this very documentation, published. A left-hand menu of collapsible categories (each category name opens a section overview at /docs/section/… that lists its pages), a search box, and every screen of all four apps explained in plain English — each page with real screenshots you can flip between web and phone. Common questions "Where's the app store link?" There isn't one yet, on purpose — the product runs fully in the browser today, offline capture included, and the Download page says exactly that instead of pointing at listings that don't exist. "What do I send a skeptical agent?" The For Agents page — it's written to them, and it shows the report and the Ask List from their side of the deal. "Is there training material?" Two layers: Learn — short plain-English walkthroughs — and Docs, the complete manual, both in the menu. "Are the testimonials real?" Both featured ones are named and verifiable founder-inspectors — Parker Home Inspections (Everett, WA) and TCS Home Inspections (Idaho), each disclosed as a HomeRecon co-founder. Inside the product, client reviews carry the stronger rule: every one is tied to a completed inspection. "How fast does Contact get answered?" It lands with the HomeRecon team directly (same inbox as [email protected]); a person reads it. Good to know Every page carries the same footer — Start free, the link columns, and the company identity block — so nobody has to find their way back to the home page to act.
